Thursdays at 8:00p
Salt Company is the college ministry of Cottage Grove Church and exists to proclaim and display new life in Christ. Our desire is for college students in Des Moines to embrace the good news of Jesus Christ, grow in their love of God and people, and to change the world as the “salt of the earth”.
“You are the Salt of the Earth” - Matthew 5:13
We value coming together to worship Jesus through song and hearing about Him through messages from the Bible. We meet weekly at 8:00p at Cottage Grove Church! Come and join us.
We also value sharing our lives with each other, reading from the Bible, strengthening friendships and having fun. Jump into a student led small group today!
Pastor Rechab and Pastor Andy will be hosting Zoom Forums on Wednesday evenings from 8:00p-9:00p over the next three weeks (May 13, May 20, May 27). The purpose of these three forums are for our church family to be better equipped in the discipline of lament. We will be tackling three questions about lament in these forums:
1) What is lament and why it is important?
2) Why is it hard for some but easy for others to lament?
3) How are we to properly lament as believers?
We know that this time is a trying time for many people in our city and within our church family. We want to lovingly embrace you as a church with the love that comes directly from our Lord Jesus Christ. If you are in need of any financial, physical, spiritual, or emotional assistance as a result of the COVID-19 outbreak, please fill out one or both of the forms below.
We are in this together.
Our Virtual Foyer is a place for people to gather after services and visit briefly with others that attend our church. If you're new here, this is a great way to get to know us better and if you're already a regular, it's a chance to reconnect with familiar faces.
We'll meet weekly directly after the Sunday morning services for about 25 minutes. Simply register below for a Zoom link to be sent to you and we will be waiting for you after service is over!
We are monitoring the situation regarding COVID-19 and have been prayerfully considering the next steps for our church. All of us are in unfamiliar territory as we deal with this unique crisis affecting our entire world.
