BECOMING A MEMBER
Scripture talks about the importance of the local church committing to follow the doctrine and mission of the church leaders (Acts 20:17-35;
1 Timothy 3:1-13; Titus 1:5-9; 1 Peter 5:1-3; Heb. 13:17). Scripture also reveals how crucial a group of believers united together is for their own sanctification and the advancement of the Gospel (John 17:1-26, Romans 16:1-16, 1 Corinthians 12:14-31). The way these passages are lived out in the life of Cottage Grove Church is through membership.
